Urszula Ziemnicki, M.OMSc.
Urszula has been in professional practice as an Osteopathic Manual Practitioner since her graduation from the Canadian Academy of Osteopathy in early 2017. Urszula’s passion for natural medicine and helping others has been a life long journey - she initially aspired to become a Naturopathic Practitioner when a complex injury required the exploration of many other healthcare modalities to try and help her with the healing process. With minimal relief attained from her search, she was ultimately introduced to Osteopathy, which not only helped her fully recover, but was also instrumental in realizing her ideal vocation.
Urszula currently works in both the Oakville & Hamilton regions with truly gifted colleagues - she enjoys continually studying to remain well versed in health related matters, researching anything that could be useful clinically, and very selectively growing a network of talented colleagues to better serve her patients. Urszula believes in the power of community, communication and education, and over the past few years her most recent areas of research have been focused on concepts like neuroplasticity, cranial nerve dysfunction, vision related issues, unique approaches to chronic pain relief (including adjunctive rehabilitative movement therapies), as well as the continuing study of paediatrics and pregnancy. Urszula believes strongly in discussion and sharing of relevant information with patients and colleagues to ensure understanding, a sense of inclusion (which can greatly aid in the healing process!), and helps to provide patients with knowledge that is empowering, and ultimately, will set them up for greater and more lasting success.
